Create an activation
Introduction
Creating an activation in Activation Engine is a simple and intuitive process that allows you to engage your audience effectively. This guide will walk you through the steps of setting up an activation while ensuring it aligns with your overall campaign strategy.
Before creating an activation, make sure you have a campaign set up. Learn more in the Activation Engine Campaigns guide.
Getting Started with Activations
Step 1: Navigate to the Activations Section
Click on the Campaigns tab.
Create new campaign or select an existing one where you want to create an activation.
Click "New Activation" to begin.

Choosing an Activation Type
Once inside the campaign, you will choose between:
Conversation Flow – An interactive journey built using the Canvas Builder.
Single Widget – A standalone activation chosen from a library of 20+ games.

If You Choose Conversation Flow
You will be redirected to the Canvas Builder.
Drag and drop elements to design the activation flow.
Add logic, interactions, and branding elements.

If You Choose Single Widget
Browse the library of 20+ games.
Select a game and configure settings like:
Branding elements (logos, colors, backgrounds)
Timing and scoring rules
User engagement options

Customizing Your Activation
Once your activation type is selected, you can further customize your:
Content & Media: Add images, videos, and other assets. Make sure to follow the assets guidelines here.
Rules & Restrictions: Set participant eligibility, start/end times, and engagement rules.
Scoring & Outcomes: Define correct answers, scoring mechanisms, and result screens.
Publishing Your Activation
Once your activation is ready, follow the steps on the Publish Activation guide to make it live and share it with your audience.
Tracking Performance
After publishing, monitor performance through the Activation Summary Overview:
Participants & Entries – View total engagement numbers.
Completion Rates – See how many users finished the activation.
CTA Clicks – Track call-to-action interactions.
